The Cube

This blue prototype Puzzle Cube was make from hard foam and then padded. It helped determine whether the scale would work for young children and to find out how they would play with the pieces.

This development of the Puzzle Cube was made of high density urethane foam and upholstered with heavy denim. This is much closer to the ideal design. I am thinking of using piping on the edges to make grabbing the pieces easier and giving the opportunity to used contrasting colors of piping to highlight the shapes.
